
As a result of meteorological conditions in Turkmenabad on February 4, the wind reached speeds of 19 m/s, leading to visibility dropping to 500 meters. According to the airport meteorological station, wind gusts reached 16 m/s, and visibility decreased to 400 meters horizontally and 240 meters vertically.
Dust storms also affected other areas of the region. In Kerki, the wind blew at a speed of 13 m/s, and visibility was limited to 2000 meters due to dust haze.
A significant area of the Mary velayat experienced dust haze, with dust storms occurring in some places. In Bayramali and Kushka, visibility remained at 2000 meters despite the haze.
A dust storm was also recorded in Mary, where the wind reached 16 m/s, and visibility was reduced to 900 meters.
