Lukashenko emphasized the importance of maintaining ties between countries, reminding that in the modern world, no state can exist in complete isolation. He highlighted the shared views of Belarus and Kazakhstan on global development and proposed to increase the volumes of interregional cooperation based on trust and joint experience. The president noted that the foundation of bilateral relations is trade, which has already reached the mark of 1 billion dollars; however, he stated that this is not the limit.
“Our country is distinguished by high technologies. We are ready to offer you not only goods but also joint productions if we talk about the long-term perspective. We know what goods may be in demand in Kazakhstan,” Lukashenko noted.
He also emphasized the readiness to supply various products, including Belarusian combines and other agricultural machinery that can effectively operate in the vast fields of Kazakhstan. Lukashenko proposed to conduct demonstrations of the machinery's operation on large plots and to train local specialists, highlighting the advantages of Belarusian machines compared to foreign counterparts.
The president added that Belarus produces more goods than it can consume itself and is ready to export the surplus, including products from the machine engineering and agricultural sectors that are in demand in Kazakhstan.
Recalling the cooperation with Kazakh specialists since the times of the Soviet Union, when he worked in agricultural enterprises, Lukashenko expressed hope for the active involvement of parliamentarians, including Koshano, in promoting economic ties between the countries. He stressed the importance of developing personnel and openness in joint work.
“We are counting on you very much, especially after this visit. We are open to cooperation and ready for dialogue on all issues,” concluded the president of Belarus.
