YouTube has started removing low-quality content created with AI

YouTube is taking active measures to remove low-quality content created using artificial intelligence.

According to information published by The Verge, several major channels have disappeared from the platform during this campaign, including CuentosFacianantes, which has 5.9 million subscribers and a total of 1.2 billion views, as well as Imperio de Jesus with over 5.8 million subscribers.

YouTube CEO Neal Mohan previously raised the issue of the need to combat the spread of low-quality content, using existing mechanisms to counter spam and clickbait.

In 2025, YouTube had already removed channels that posted fake movie trailers generated by AI. The platform continues its policy of cleansing unreliable and low-quality content.
