Milan, considered one of the main capitals of world fashion, will be the center of attention regarding style at the 2026 Winter Olympics, held in Milan and Cortina. This is reported by MiddleAsianNews.

Style will be particularly noticeable during the Parade of Nations at the opening ceremony, when athletes from different corners of the world will showcase striking costumes reflecting the culture of their countries.

Mongolia intends to draw attention to its culture from the very beginning.

The Goyol Cashmere company from Ulaanbaatar presented a magnificent outfit that reinterprets traditional Mongolian deel — long dresses with a belt, typical of the nomadic Mongolian Empire of the 13th century.

At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Mongolia will be represented by three athletes: alpine skier Ariunbat Altanzul and speed skiers Achbadrah Batmunkh and Ariuntungalag Enkhbayar.

The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina will be the 16th for Mongolia, which continues to strive for its first Olympic medal.

The Mongolian national team's outfit also drew attention at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, where the luxuriously decorated embroidered vests stood out particularly.

The opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina will be broadcast on NBC and online on the Peacock and NBC Olympics platforms on Friday, February 6, starting at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
