Elon Musk, the renowned American entrepreneur, has become the first person in the world whose net worth has surpassed $800 billion, according to a report by Forbes magazine.
According to the publication's data, Musk's wealth increased following the acquisition of his company xAI, which focuses on artificial intelligence and social networks, by the aerospace company SpaceX. This merger created a new company with an estimated value of $1.25 trillion.
As a result of this agreement, the businessman’s fortune increased by $84 billion, reaching a record high of $852 billion.
Earlier in December, Forbes had already reported that Musk became the first person whose net worth exceeded $700 billion.
