During the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for his significant contribution to the development of relations between Thailand and Mongolia, which lasted nearly six years. He noted the importance of events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, as well as efforts to strengthen interpersonal exchanges. In turn, the Ambassador expressed gratitude for the support from Thailand and noted that his successor would be able to continue to enhance cooperation.

The parties discussed the possibility of regular visits, including trips by Mongolian ministers and high-ranking officials to Thailand, as well as participation in training programs post-pandemic. The Ambassador also reported on plans to install the sculpture "Two Stallions" in a public park near the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, which will become a symbol of friendship between the countries; completion of the work is expected this month.

Tourism was identified as one of the promising areas for cooperation, especially considering the seasonal direct flights between Ulaanbaatar and Bangkok, as well as Phuket. Thailand continues to be a popular destination for Mongolian tourists. The Ambassador suggested considering the possibility of opening direct flights by Thai airlines to Mongolia to support the development of tourism, trade, and economic ties. Both sides also discussed the goal of increasing bilateral trade to 100 million dollars by 2027 and attracting investments of 1.5 billion dollars.

Regarding security issues, the Ambassador highly appreciated Thailand's efforts in combating online fraud and expressed support for expanding cooperation in this area, noting that Mongolia also faces similar problems. He also mentioned recent cultural exchanges, such as the installation of the first statue of the Mongolian Buddha outside Mongolia in the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, symbolizing the close ties between the two states.
