In January of this year, the Department of Foreign Citizens and Citizenship of Mongolia issued 7330 visas to foreign citizens. Of this number, 3972 visas were issued in the form of electronic tourist permits, covering 20 different countries. This information is provided by MiddleAsianNews.
Additionally, 1237 foreign citizens were granted residence permits, and 5057 individuals were able to extend their current residence permits in the country.
In the previous month, around 3000 individuals, organizations, and companies provided services for processing visas and residence permits for more than 21,000 foreigners.
These figures indicate a growth of 42.4% in the number of visas issued and approved visa types, a 1.6% increase in residence permits, and a 68.1% increase in residence visa extensions compared to the same period last year.
