In 2025, 63,177 criminal cases were reviewed, involving 79,554 defendants. As a result, 63,340 individuals were found guilty, of which 18,816 received actual prison sentences.

Among other things, the courts acquitted 422 individuals and rehabilitated them. At the same time, 8,085 defendants were released immediately after the verdict was announced, as their punishments did not involve imprisonment. Suspended sentences were imposed on 993 individuals. The reconciliation institute helped avoid criminal liability for 13,200 defendants.

Of those convicted, 55,829 were men, and 7,511 were women. Among the convicted, 23,973 were young people, including 2,431 minors. Additionally, 2,830 convicted individuals were over 60 years old.

The most common crimes were fraud, traffic violations, and theft. There were also illegal actions involving drugs without intent to sell, embezzlement, forgery of documents, illegal drug trafficking with intent to sell, pimping, maintaining brothels, as well as the cultivation of prohibited crops and intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm.

The majority of criminal cases were reviewed in the capital, as well as in the Fergana, Tashkent, Samarkand, and Namangan regions.
