However, Iranian media denied these reports. The Mehr agency stated that "an informed source denied rumors of such an assassination in connection with the incident." Tasnim also confirmed this information through its sources.
Israeli officials stated that their country is not connected to these explosions, as reported by Channel 12 of Israeli television.
It is worth noting that amid deteriorating relations with the U.S., the Iranian armed forces have been put on "full defensive and combat readiness." The commander of the ground forces, Amir Hatami, stated that "any mistake on the part of the enemy could threaten its security, as well as the security of the region and the Zionist regime."
