According to Darina Solod, the founder of Hook Report, the incident was a serious blow to their small publication, and she does not rule out the possibility that the blockage was intentional. Sarpa Media added that the reason could have been mass complaints, which were likely coordinated and resembled previous attacks involving suspicious accounts.
The project against violence, Nemolchi.uz, expressed support for those who were blocked and called on Meta and international organizations to provide clear explanations, considering the importance of freedom of speech and digital security for women. In light of the situation, Nemolchi.uz temporarily closed its page to new subscribers, leaving access for the existing audience.
