According to the TF1 television channel, the robbery occurred on the night of Thursday to Friday, January 30, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Two criminals broke into the home of an official and, attacking him while he was sleeping, inflicted a head injury. After that, they searched the premises and took with them watches, brooches, and other valuables.
After the robbers left the scene, the victim called the police himself. He was taken to the hospital, but his life is not in danger. The damage from the theft is estimated at 6-7 million euros; however, confidential information was not affected during the robbery.
