As reported by Politico, citing sources among European diplomats, Fico characterized Trump's behavior as "dangerous" after their conversation at his residence in Florida. One of the publication's sources noted that the Slovak Prime Minister was "traumatized" by what he heard during the personal meeting.

This conversation took place on January 22 in Brussels during an emergency summit of the European Union, convened in light of Trump's statements about the possibility of acquiring Greenland.

In response to Politico's publication, White House representatives denied the information, calling it "completely fake." Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly added that the meeting between Trump and Fico was "positive and productive."
