During his speech, Khojazoda also noted a number of projects that are under the control of his institution. As a result of the excavations, specialists found more than 190 artifacts, including jewelry, numismatics, glassware, ceramics, seals, and epigraphic heritage. Khojazoda also reported that an archaeological base will be established in Khulbuk on a plot of land covering 1 hectare.
The agency has also added 220 new object passports to its archive, and the library received more than 1500 copies of scientific and artistic literature from leading scholars in the country.
The press conference also discussed projects dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence, which will take place in September. In particular, a two-story building for the State Institute of Ethnology is currently being constructed in Istaraavshan with the participation of local entrepreneurs, along with an "Archaeological Base." The design of the administrative building of the State Institution for Historical and Cultural Heritage in Gissar has been completed, and its construction is planned to be finished by the holiday.
