- Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been extended until May 4.
- The European Union has approved a plan that bans the import of Russian gas by 2027. This decision was made at a meeting of ministers in Brussels on Monday, with Slovakia and Hungary opposing it, and Hungary intends to appeal to the European Court.
