The number of fatalities due to the landslide in Indonesia has reached 25
According to the Antara agency, the number of victims of the landslide in West Java province, Indonesia, has risen to 25 people. This information was provided by the National Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia.
Previously, 17 fatalities were reported. Search and rescue operations are currently ongoing, involving local services. However, 65 people are still reported missing. The search operations are facing difficulties due to heavy rains, unstable ground, and the possibility of further landslides.
The tragedy occurred on January 24 in the West Bandung district when heavy rainfall triggered a landslide that buried the village of Pasir Langu.
