Other device settings may also affect the alarm's functionality. For example, the volume of the alarm depends on the slider that controls the ringtone and notification levels. If the "Change with Buttons" option is enabled, users may accidentally lower the volume using the physical buttons.
Additionally, the "Attention Awareness" feature related to Face ID may also be a cause. If the sensors detect that the user is looking at the screen, the system automatically lowers the volume of notifications and alarms. To restore the alarm's full volume, this feature can be disabled in the settings: "Face ID & Passcode" - "Attention Awareness."
