We officially present the everyday and ceremonial uniforms of the Mongolian team for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, - informs MiddleAsianNews.

The clothing for the athletes was designed by designers and tailors from Goyol Cashmere.

This collection not only combines traditional elements with modern style; it reinterprets ancient Mongolian clothing to present it in a contemporary context and showcase it on the international stage.

Inspired by the clothing of the Great Mongolian Empire of the 13th to 15th centuries, when the country reached its highest power, the models retain important traditional features, such as a functional slit on the deel, ensuring freedom of movement, a high collar for protection against cold and wind, and an overlapping front, symbolizing warmth and unity. The exquisite cashmere used in the clothing is finished with a silk trim embroidered with traditional horn-ugalz motifs, giving the garments a refined and ceremonial appearance.

By creating ceremonial deels from Mongolian cashmere, which has long been used by nomadic peoples for protection against the cold, the developers pay tribute to the rich culture and traditions. They also offer everyday outfits inspired by ski sweaters and enriched with elements related to Mongolian yurts and nomadic lifestyle.

These developments vividly illustrate the resilience, wisdom, and warrior spirit of the Mongols, who have endured the harsh winters of Central Asia for millennia, and will now proudly present this on the world sports stage.
