Residents of frontline areas will be able to receive payments for purchasing essential goods, including generators for shelters, heating systems, as well as warm clothing and blankets. Additional support measures are also being discussed.

The company "Chernihivoblenergo" reported a massive power outage affecting tens of thousands of consumers. Restoration work has begun, but it may take time due to security threats.
As of the morning of January 19, the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Artem Nekrasov, reported that power outages also affected the Sumy, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
The situation remains difficult in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, where frosts are increasing the load on the energy system. The restoration of electricity supply in the capital is being carried out by 60 crews, 12 of which have been brought in from other regions. Distribution network operators continue to implement restrictions, while previously announced outage schedules have been temporarily suspended.
Restrictions are also in place in the Odesa region, where restoration work is ongoing following previous attacks.
