Trump invited leaders of 58 countries to the 'Council of Peace'

U.S. President Donald Trump has invited the leaders of 58 countries to join the "Council of Peace," dedicated to the situation in Gaza. This information was announced by an American official in an interview with the Axios portal.

According to the source, during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump is likely to compare the activities of the "Council of Peace" to the work of the United Nations. "He will probably express the opinion that this initiative is in opposition to the UN. But, as always, we cannot predict exactly what Donald Trump will say until he begins his speech," the official noted.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, reported that Vladimir Putin also received an invitation to join the "Council of Peace," and this proposal is currently under consideration.
