Tragedy in Jerusalem: two children have died and about 55 others were injured as a result of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at a kindergarten, as reported by The Jerusalem Post.

According to reports from fire and rescue services, no hazardous substances were found at the scene. However, investigators are considering the possibility of poisoning due to faulty heating equipment.

More than 25 children from this kindergarten were hospitalized at the "Shaare Zedek" medical center. Doctors and medical teams are working with the victims and providing support to the families of those whose children were hospitalized, the medical institution reported.

As clarified by The Jerusalem Post, citing information from the Israeli Ministry of Education, this institution was private and operated in an apartment in the Romema neighborhood without the necessary license.
