The terrorist group "Islamic State" claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber.
The restaurant is located in the commercial area of Shahr-e-Naw, known for its offices, shopping centers, and embassies. This area is considered one of the safest in Kabul, according to information from Reuters.
