An earthquake of about 3.5 magnitude occurred in China near Kyrgyzstan

The epicenter was located on the Kakshaaltau ridge, 36 kilometers south of the village of Bedel and 145 kilometers from the city of Karakol.

The tremors were not felt in the populated areas of Kyrgyzstan.
