
Unfortunately, de Souza was hospitalized on Christmas due to kidney failure, and he passed away on January 13.

According to sources, the athlete's large biceps were the result of injections he administered himself, rather than training. Doctors had repeatedly warned him about the risks associated with such procedures, including possible abscesses and amputations.
Ten years ago, he shared a tragic story with British media about his friend Paulinho, who also engaged in dangerous injections and died. After that, de Souza claimed he had stopped taking such shots.
