The USA suspends the issuance of immigration visas for citizens of 75 countries

According to an internal document available to the television channel, consular officials have been instructed to deny visas under existing legislation until the review of applicant verification procedures is completed. Among the countries affected by these restrictions are Russia, Somalia, Afghanistan, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Thailand, Yemen, and others. The complete list of these countries has not been officially disclosed.

As reported by Fox News, this suspension will take effect on January 21 and will remain in place indefinitely until the Department of State completes the reassessment of visa procedures.
