In 2025, the total volume of Mongolia's foreign economic activity amounted to 27,013.7 million US dollars, which is 384.5 million dollars (or 1.4%) lower than in 2024. However, the country managed to maintain a positive trade balance, with exports exceeding imports by 4,389.4 million dollars. Of the total export volume, 99.2% consisted of mineral resources, including coal (both hard and brown), copper-molybdenum concentrates, fluorite, as well as iron and zinc ores and crude oil.
