One day, a friend who came to visit noticed that the figurine did not match traditional images of Buddha. He looked closer and realized that it was actually Shrek, made with a 3D printer and styled as Buddha — the character was dressed in a robe resembling monastic clothing.
Upon learning the truth, the woman was initially shocked, but soon laughed about the situation with her friend. According to her, the shape of the figurine doesn't matter — what’s more important is the sincerity of the prayers and good intentions. She noted that she has no intention of parting with her "green Buddha" and will continue to pray before it.
This case reminds us of an event that occurred last June in the Indian park of Premlok, when water unexpectedly began to flow from the trunk of a royal bougainvillea.
Local residents took this as a divine miracle and flocked to the site to worship.
However, it later turned out that the "holy water" was actually the result of a leak from a damaged underground pipe, which allowed water to seep through the hollow trunk of the tree.
