The number of fatalities in the train crash in Thailand has risen to 22 people
As a result of a train accident in Thailand that occurred on Wednesday, the death toll has risen to 22, reports Thai PBS. The incident happened when a passenger train traveling from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani collided with a construction crane that had fallen onto the tracks in the Sikhiu area of Nakhon Ratchasima province. This collision caused the train to derail and ignited a fire in several of its carriages. According to the newspaper Khaosot, at least four people have died, and around 40 have been injured.
“Currently, the number of victims from the train's collision with the fallen crane in Nakhon Ratchasima stands at 22,” the news channel stated.
