In Kazakhstan, a significant drop in temperature is expected in the coming days. As reported by "Kazhydromet," the weather will be influenced by a powerful anticyclone that has come from the areas of Novaya Zemlya.
According to forecasts for January 15, the temperature will be as follows:
- in the north and east – at night from -30 to -40 degrees;
- in the south – from -5 to -13 degrees;
- in the southeast – from -8 to -17 degrees;
- in the mountainous areas – up to -20…-25 degrees.
Heavy snowfall, low visibility blizzards, and ice are expected in southern Kazakhstan on January 15 and 16. Additionally, on January 16 and 17, blizzards, heavy snowfall, fog, and ice are forecasted in the southeast.
