A Family Disappeared in Kazakhstan. The Bodies of the Parents Were Found in a Shed in the Backyard of the House

The case of the disappearance of a family living in the village of Zhangeldi in the Kyzylkogin district began to develop on December 25, when one of the relatives contacted the local police. He reported that his brother, his wife, and their two adult children had not been in touch for over a month.

According to the investigation, the family left their home in November of last year, after which contact with them was lost. It is believed that they may have headed to the southern regions of Kazakhstan.

According to relatives, one of the sons occasionally contacted them via WhatsApp, explaining the absence of his parents by their illness and the urgent need to sell their livestock. However, he only sent text messages, avoiding video calls, which raised suspicions among his relatives. Additionally, the family began selling off their livestock, which was unusual for them.

On January 6, it became known that the police discovered the bodies of the spouses — the parents of the missing individuals. They were found in a shed on the property nearly two months after their disappearance. In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated on charges of murder.

The search for the two adult children continues. Zhantore Demeshov, head of the Emergency Situations Department of Atyrau region, reported that search operations are taking place in the areas of Shadymantubek, Besmola, and Birimola within a radius of 20 kilometers, as well as in the Karasu area. Divers and an underwater drone are participating in the operation.

According to a news channel, on November 5, one of the missing daughters left by taxi and was captured on surveillance cameras in the Inder district. It is also known that another daughter and her husband left Kazakhstan and are currently in Uzbekistan.

Law enforcement agencies note that the mobile number of the missing family head is periodically active, but no one answers the calls. The investigation is ongoing, and details are not disclosed in the interest of the investigation.
