In Kazakhstan, a criminal case has been initiated due to citizens' statements about the attack on KTK.

A criminal case has been initiated in Kazakhstan due to citizens' statements about the attack on KTK

In connection with these statements, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated under part 1 of Article 174 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan, which pertains to inciting national hatred. Law enforcement agencies are searching for the authors of negative comments about the attack on KTK and collecting the necessary evidence. A final legal assessment will be provided based on the results of the investigation.

On December 17, deputies from the "Amanat" party in the Mazhilis appealed to the Prosecutor General's Office requesting to examine the actions of users who, in their opinion, supported the attacks on KTK on social media. In their request, the parliamentarians noted that such actions go beyond the constitutional right to freedom of speech and harm national interests. They also pointed out the possibility of qualifying these actions as propaganda of terrorism and treason.

On November 29, UAVs attacked a maritime terminal near Novorossiysk, which is an important route for the export of Kazakh oil. The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan condemned this attack, calling it unacceptable and a threat to global energy security. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan expressed an official protest against this incident.
