The Prime Minister held a virtual meeting with governors in the aimak of Khövsgöl

The Prime Minister Zandan Shatar Gombojav is working in Khubsugul.

The Cabinet of Ministers is preparing for an important event scheduled for January 15, 2026. As part of a unified meeting, it is planned to gather the chairpersons of the khurals, representatives of citizens from the capital, and governors to sign agreements reflecting the results of their work.

In anticipation of this meeting, the Government of Mongolia has initiated an online conference aimed at creating a common understanding among the leadership of the aimags, the capital, soums, and districts regarding the economic, social, and sectoral policies planned for 2026.

The Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers' Secretariat, Radnaased Shatarbal, reported that unlike previous meetings, where information was exchanged only between the leaders of the aimags and the capital, it will now be provided in an integrated format for heads of departments and agencies, as well as for officials at the aimag, capital, soum, and district levels. He emphasized the need for transparency and openness in providing public services to citizens, without bureaucratic delays.

Participants in the online meeting included leaders from all 21 aimags, as well as over 300 representatives from soums and districts.

At the event, Prime Minister Zandan Shatar presented a brief analysis of the current socio-economic situation, achievements of 2025, and the strategic priorities of the government for 2026.

The Prime Minister also announced a 300-day action plan aimed at accelerating economic recovery, so that its results are tangible for citizens. He urged local authorities to actively participate in the implementation of this plan, which is focused on ensuring economic growth, protecting the livelihoods of the population, creating more favorable conditions for business, optimizing the government's role in the economy, and maintaining stable macroeconomic growth.
