The year 2025 became the warmest in China

According to the Kazinform agency, the year 2025 has set a record for temperature in China, based on meteorological observations that have been conducted since 1961. The average temperature in the country was 11 degrees Celsius. As reported by Xinhua, from June to August, the temperature in the country reached 22.3 degrees, which is 1.1 degrees above the usual norm for this time of year. This made the summer of 2025 the warmest since 1961, alongside the summer of 2024.

Additionally, last year in Beijing, the highest amount of precipitation since 1961 was recorded, and the duration of the rainy season and total precipitation in the northern regions of the country reached historical highs.

As for the forecast for the current month, meteorologists warn of possible adverse weather conditions for the northern regions, including low temperatures, snowfall, and ice rain, while the southern regions should prepare for the consequences of a meteorological drought.
