The competition for the construction of "Tennis Park" in Bishkek has been canceled — a new one will be announced.
Previously, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, as well as Tourism and Youth Affairs of the city administration, together with the Center for Public-Private Partnerships, organized a competition for the reconstruction and construction of a year-round tennis complex.
As a result of the conducted competitive procedures, a potential private partner was identified. However, due to the expiration of the deadlines established by law, the public-private partnership agreement was never signed, and consequently, the procedure was declared unsuccessful.
The city administration emphasized that a new competition will be announced for the further advancement of the project.
The project aims to create a modern indoor tennis complex that will operate year-round. Its implementation is focused on the development of both mass and professional tennis, as well as on expanding opportunities for sports and physical culture activities in the capital.
