Garrett Kelly, a newcomer to Osh's "Alaa," has received an invitation to participate in the match of the Sri Lankan national team as part of the qualifying round for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.
On March 31, the Sri Lankan team will play an away match against the Chinese Taipei national team. Both teams have already lost their chances of advancing to the final stage of the tournament.
The Sri Lankan national team is in the same group as the Turkmenistan team, which includes two players from the Jygorku League — Teymur Chariyev from "Bars" and Mikhail Titov from "Özgön," who have also been called up for the match against Thailand.
Additionally, 27-year-old midfielder Alexey Saveliev from "Asia" in Talas has been called up to the Latvian national team. His team will play two matches against the Gibraltar national team on March 26 and 31 in an attempt to maintain their position in Group C of the UEFA Nations League.
