The national team of Kyrgyzstan performed successfully at the international tournament "Cup of the Founders of Sambo," which took place in Moscow from March 24 to 26. This information was provided by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
The competitions were held at the International Sambo Center, located within the "Luzhniki" sports complex, and gathered over 200 athletes from ten countries.
As a result of the tournament, Kyrgyz athletes won three bronze medals:
- Alai Sartov (up to 71 kg, sports sambo);
- Jandos Esengaziev (up to 79 kg, sports sambo);
- Adil Turatbek uulu (up to 64 kg, combat sambo).
