Kyrgyzstanis won medals at the World Championship in Muay Thai in Bangkok





From March 10 to 20, the World Championship in Muay Thai took place in Bangkok, where athletes from Kyrgyzstan won 12 medals in the junior and youth categories. This information was officially announced by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result of the championship, the Kyrgyzstan team won 6 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals.

List of gold medalists:

Veronika Akhmatova (category up to 54 kg);

Diana Zainitdinova (category up to 57 kg);

Nurdooolot Borubekov (category up to 63 kg);

Robert Pak (category up to 67 kg);

Bogdan Proshin (category up to 75 kg);

Eldar Yeshbaev (category up to 81 kg).

Silver medals were won by:

Erkaim Aibekova (category up to 60 kg);

Adis Mirbolotov (category up to 63 kg).

Bronze medals were awarded to:

Mekin Asanaliev (category up to 57 kg);

Alikhan Zakirov (category up to 67 kg);

Rashid Magomedov (category up to 71 kg);

Raul Rakhatebek (category up to 71 kg).
