Schoolgirl from Ak-Suu Nurelina Tursunalieva became a prizewinner of the international chess tournament

At the international chess tournament for teenage girls held in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, Nurelina Tursunalieva took third place. This was reported by her coach, Samat Derkembaev.

According to him, five female chess players from the Issyk-Kul region participated in the tournament.
“The competition took place from March 9 to 16 and attracted the strongest athletes from 13 countries. Nurelina placed third among 62 participants and was awarded a cash prize,” said S. Derkembaev.

Nurelina Tursunalieva began her chess career at the age of 7 and currently holds six titles of champion of Kyrgyzstan. She is currently studying in the eighth grade at the M. Mamakeyev Gymnasium in the village of Ak-Suu.
