Kyrgyzstan Championship: "Abdysh-Ata" showed the worst start in the club's history in the top league
The team from Kant has suffered three consecutive defeats, losing to "Aziyagol" 1:2, "Bishkek City" 0:1, and "Muras United" 1:2.
After three rounds under the guidance of Valery Berezovsky, "Abdysh-Ata" occupies second-to-last place in the standings, having no points among 16 teams.
The Kant team is ahead of only "Nefchi" from Kochkor-Ata on goal difference, and they managed to avoid the last place thanks to an own goal that led to "Muras United" winning in the 90+4 minute.
The club, founded in 2000, began its journey in the second league and made its debut in the top division in 2004, finishing in 5th place. Since then, it has not missed a single season.
In 2022, "Abdysh-Ata" became the national champion for the first time in its history, and then repeated this success twice in a row.
Last season, the team finished in third place in the Premier League of Kyrgyzstan and won bronze medals; however, during the off-season, they did not extend contracts with key players. Before the new season, the team signed new footballers, including foreign players.
This season, "Abdysh-Ata" has failed to earn any points after the first three matches in the top league of the Kyrgyz championship for the first time.
The Joghorku League-2026 is going on a break after three rounds, as the national team of Kyrgyzstan is holding training camps in Turkey.
The next match for "Abdysh-Ata" will be at home against "Toktogul" on April 4.
