The fine was imposed for an incident that occurred during a cup match against the team "Krasnodar," which took place on March 4.

The committee's decision stated that after analyzing all materials, it became clear that there were racist chants at two moments during the match, originating from a small group of fans—about seven to eight people. It was noted that this did not represent a widespread phenomenon. Nevertheless, such actions were recognized as a violation of regulations. The committee emphasized that for the humiliation of a person's dignity based on racial characteristics, the club must be fined 1 million rubles.

This incident did not go unnoticed, as earlier the team's players were accused of exhibiting racism. In particular, racist chants were directed at the dark-skinned Colombian forward John Cordoba.
