On March 12, a concert was held in Balykchy to mark the opening of the new library named after Saparbai Kasmambetov — an outstanding Kyrgyz manaschi, Turkologist, and poet. This event was organized by Cholpon Junushbaeva, the director of the Bulat Minzhilkiev Arts School.
Among the concert participants were soloists from the Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Maldybaev, including the honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Irina Ryabina and international competition laureates Gleb Kim and Leonid Rukavishnikov. They performed famous romances such as "Chrysanthemums," "No, He Did Not Love," and "Return of the Romance," which delighted the audience.
Additionally, students from vocal departments in Cholpon-Ata, Kara-Balta, and the village of Belovodskoye also took the stage, pleasing the audience with their performances of romances and songs.
The children had the opportunity to interact with professional artists in a relaxed atmosphere, ask questions, and learn more about the world of theater, which provided them with a unique experience.
At the conclusion of the event, a round table was held to discuss methods of teaching vocals to children. The theater artists shared their knowledge and experience in the field of vocal pedagogy.
