The Uruguayan's hat-trick brought 'Real' a crushing victory over 'Manchester City'.

In the match at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium, Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde showcased an outstanding performance, scoring a hat-trick and thus securing a brilliant victory for Madrid's "Real" over "Manchester City." Valverde, who took to the field wearing the captain's armband and the number eight shirt previously belonging to Toni Kroos, troubled the opponents' defense three times in just 22 minutes of the first half, delighting the fans and leaving the "City" players bewildered.

The first goal came after an accurate pass from goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois: receiving the ball on the right flank, Valverde quickly bypassed the defender, deceived goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, and sent the ball into the net. The second goal resulted from a powerful low shot, while the third was an impressive volley after a pass from Brahim Diaz, which firmly established the Madrid side's advantage. Throughout the match, Valverde was active all over the field, not forgetting about defense: towards the end of the match, he even moved to the right-back position to help keep the goal "clean."

After the final whistle, "Real" head coach Álvaro Arbeloa described his captain's performance as "magical." His teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold added that Valverde remains one of the most underrated players in world football. The emotions in the stands were shared by star teammates: Jude Bellingham was impressed by the third goal, while injured Kylian Mbappé actively celebrated the success from one of the stadium's boxes. As recognition of his achievements, Valverde was awarded the man of the match prize and, as is tradition, took the match ball home with him.
