At the Naiza Jekpe-Jek tournament held in Kazakhstan, an incident occurred during the fight between Kazakh fighter Arli Aliev and Kyrgyzstani Maxim Pavlov, sources including Sports.kz report.

During the bout, Pavlov secured victory by delivering strikes that led to a technical knockout of Aliev. The referee was forced to intervene to declare the fighter from Kyrgyzstan the winner.

However, the Kazakh fighter disagreed with the referee's decision. He ran up to Pavlov, who was already celebrating his victory, and suggested resuming the fight. This led to a brief scuffle, during which the referee managed to restrain Aliev. Ultimately, the athletes shook hands and embraced, leaving the conflict behind.

“The match between Maxim Pavlov and Arli Aliev was very tense. Aliev controlled the course of the fight, but one powerful strike from Pavlov changed everything,” Naiza FC summarized.

The format of the NAIZA Jekpe-Jek tournament is designed to identify talented MMA fighters from Central Asia and provides participants with the opportunity to sign contracts with the main league and compete in larger tournaments.
