Symbat Uraimjanova, representing Kyrgyzstan, has successfully advanced to the next stage of the international boxing tournament taking place in Thailand.

The competition, called the World Boxing Futures Cup, features young athletes under 19 years old and is being held in Bangkok.

Uraimjanova is competing in the weight category up to 60 kg, where 29 participants are registered.

She began her performances on March 10 with a match in the 1/16 finals against a boxer from Morocco.

Right at the start of the bout, in the first minute, the Kyrgyzstani athlete sent her opponent to the canvas twice, and in the second minute, the referee decided to stop the fight.

Thus, Uraimjanova secured victory and moved on to the next round, where she will face a Polish athlete on March 12.
