Athletes from Kyrgyzstan Show Success at the Deaflympics, - Sports Agency
During the meeting, a draft law concerning amendments to the existing law "On Physical Culture and Sports" was discussed.
Deputy Toktobubu Ashymbaeva emphasized that the new draft law will enshrine the status of the Deaflympics.
Kurmanaly uulu noted that deaf sports in Kyrgyzstan are actively developing, and athletes are achieving impressive results.
In response to a question from a deputy about benefits for athletes, the representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection stated that such benefits are provided equally with payments for people with disabilities.
Furthermore, Nursultan Kurmanaly uulu added that after participating in international competitions, athletes receive scholarships and necessary support.
