The football club "Abdysh-Ata" from Kant, a three-time champion of Kyrgyzstan, continues to face difficulties in the new season, suffering its second consecutive defeat.

In the second round of the Joghorku League on March 8, the team from Kant hosted "Bishkek City" at their stadium, which finished second to last in the previous season.

This match was the first of the new season played on natural grass, among 13 scheduled games.

"Bishkek City" won with a minimal score of 1:0, thanks to a goal by Islam Mezhitov, scored in the 58th minute of the match.

Thus, this became the second consecutive defeat for "Abdysh-Ata"; in the previous round, the team lost to "Asiagol," which finished last in the previous season, with a score of 1:2.

In their next match on March 14, "Abdysh-Ata" will meet at their home stadium with the vice-champion of 2025, "Muras United."

"Bishkek City," after losing to the reigning champion "Bars" (1:2) in the first round, managed to earn their first 3 points of the new season.

In the third round, the team from Bishkek will visit "Dordoi."
