In the weight category up to 110 kg, where 108 athletes competed, Kyrgyzstan's Bekdolot Rasulbekov demonstrated excellent results. He lifted 165 kg in the snatch and 210 kg in the clean and jerk, totaling 375 kg. These achievements earned him first place and a gold medal, as well as two small golds for the snatch and clean and jerk.
Emil Moldodosov represented Kyrgyzstan in the weight category up to 79 kg, where 102 participants competed. In the snatch, he lifted 140 kg, earning a small gold, and in the clean and jerk, his result was 162 kg. In total, his combined result was 302 kg, which also secured him first place and a gold medal.
Thus, Kyrgyz athletes won 5 gold medals at this tournament, of which two were major and three were small.
