Bigser Cup 2026. The first licensed FIG tournament has started in Bishkek
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, more than 200 participants from six countries gathered at the "Gazprom - Children" Sports Complex for the Bigser Cup competitions.

Although this tournament has been held in the city for the seventh time, this year is significant as it coincides with the first international tournament licensed by FIG.

According to Evgenia Bykovskaya, the president of the Bishkek Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, "The International Gymnastics Federation closely monitors the organization of tournaments, evaluating both the organizers and the competition process. We are hosting international competitions for the seventh time, and they have recognized our achievements, judging, and support from partner countries, which allowed us to obtain permission for tournaments under the FIG aegis."

FIG tournaments have a high status, featuring the best gymnasts from participating countries. Within our tournament, athletes will compete who will later represent their countries at the Asian Championship, which will also take place in Bishkek.

The tournament features gymnasts from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kuwait, and Kyrgyzstan. The program includes individual performances in various rhythmic gymnastics disciplines, as well as group exercises. The final competitions will take place on March 8, when the winners will be determined.

The main objectives of the competitions are to promote rhythmic gymnastics in Kyrgyzstan, confirm qualification standards, identify the strongest and most promising athletes, and strengthen international cooperation in sports.
