Khabib Nurmagomedov harshly criticized computer games
UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov harshly criticized video games, stating that he cannot stand it when young people spend their best years on them.
“If you are my brother, I will break your computer. How many people have spent their best years, from 17 to 27, playing video games? By engaging in sports, you become healthier. While playing on the computer, your mindset changes. They teach you nothing; I am a big hater of them,” the publication Sherdog quoted Nurmagomedov's words.
The former UFC lightweight champion contrasted the virtual world with the real gym, noting that even without a title, one can achieve success in real life through discipline and communication, while gaming, in his opinion, only provides an illusion of success.
Nurmagomedov's last fight took place in October 2020 at UFC 254, where he defeated Justin Gaethje by technical submission (triangle choke) in the second round, bringing his record to 29–0, after which he announced his retirement.
