The Football Federation of Kazakhstan has announced that Begayim Kyrgyzbaeva will now lead the women's national team.
Kyrgyzbaeva is one of the most well-known and successful football players in the country. Throughout her career, she has become the champion of Kazakhstan 11 times and has won the national cup 10 times. Since 2003, she has represented the national team, playing a record 85 matches and scoring 17 goals.
Begayim's appointment as head coach is a natural continuation of her outstanding career as both a player and a coach, which includes her work with the clubs "Okzhetpes" and "Yelimay," as well as her role as an assistant in the national team's coaching staff.
