According to information provided by the district sports school, the international festival-tournament, organized with the support of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, will take place from February 27 to 28, 2026. The best belt wrestlers from different corners of the world will gather for this competition.
The following athletes representing the At-Bashinsky sports school will compete as part of the team:
- Akimsha Abdyssakov — in the weight category up to 45 kg;
- Emir Beyshenaliev — in the weight category up to 60 kg;
- Albert Nurlanbekov — in the weight category over 96 kg.
The team coach, Toktomush uulu Zhanibek, emphasized the high level of preparation of his athletes. “These guys are a true pride of our village Kazybek. They have already shown excellent results at the republican competitions, which allowed them to receive an invitation to the national team and participate in this international tournament. Currently, our athletes are actively training in Bishkek,” he noted.
